Here you will find a worldwide community of Great Dane admirers, exhibitors, breeders and judges. We are focused on bringing together aficionados of the blue (and black carrying for blue, more on that later) Great Dane in an effort to further the knowledge of every visitor to this site. We also hope to foster additional cooperation and collaboration between “Blue Dane Folks” throughout the world in an effort to improve our recessive-coat colored variety of Dane. We plan to offer articles involving genetics, health, care, conformation, history and, of course, the people involved with our Blue Danes. We will have sections or departments each month that include: the “Haus of Bluez” Photo Gallery, “Sculptors” which is a meet a breeder feature and “Lords of the Ring”, an interview with judges throughout the world. We will also offer polls regarding the various issues that affect our breed. Of course, many blues came from black Great Danes that carried a gene to pass the blue coat color. BlueGreatDanes.net does not shun black Great Danes at all and welcomes all involved with blue and black Danes to partake in what we have to offer. The “Haus of Bluez” Photo Gallery will enable you to inexpensively celebrate your Dane. I am confident that this site will only grow as time passes.
